Imagine Dragons in Games and Film: From Warriors to Enemy

The Las Vegas rock band Imagine Dragons are known worldwide for arena hits like Radioactive and Believer — a story told in our band overview. Less talked about is how often their music turns up in blockbuster games, films and TV, where their big, drum-forward choruses fit the screen as naturally as the stage.

Their deepest ties are to gaming. In 2014 they wrote Warriors, the first song ever designed for the League of Legends World Championship — Riot Games later launched the game's tenth season with a cinematic 2020 cover. In 2021 they returned to that world with Enemy, made with rapper JID as the opening theme of Netflix's Arcane; it reached the US top five and went four-times platinum. More recently, Children of the Sky (2023) was written for Bethesda's space epic Starfield, and a Beat Saber music pack put ten of their tracks into VR.

The screen has drawn on them just as often. Battle Cry soundtracked Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014), Levitate closed Passengers (2016), Not Today featured in Me Before You (2016), and Zero played over Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018).
